During her studies at the London School of Economics and seven years of working as an economist, Svetlana supported charities and fundraising events aimed at helping young people. In 2017 she decided it was time to set up her own charity and get more involved in the work of the charity sector where she can apply her professional skills and create some positive impact on young people’s lives. Outside of Help Impact, Svetlana loves spending time out with her family and travelling.
Veronika first raised funds for charity in 2014 by running London Marathon for Family Holiday Association. Since then she has supported various projects aimed at economic empowerment, women and children welfare, disaster and humanitarian relief. Veronika has been living in London for eight years and is currently an automation and robotics programme manager at British Telecom.
Tatiana, while working in telecom industry in multiple countries around the world, has always driven charitable projects such as supporting unprivileged families with children and elderly people. She is now using her knowledge and expertise to advance the work of Help Impact. Tatiana speaks seven languages and is passionate about making difference to people’s lives – be it in her present role at Vodafone or outside work – together with her husband and young daughter.
Yulia is a banker in the City of London, mother of a son and Help Impact’s event manager. “I started volunteering for Help Impact not only because Svetlana, the Founder, is my close friend and I fully trust her, but mostly because I find the idea of small good deeds extremely appealing. We can’t save all the children in this world, cure all the diseases and overcome poverty and cruelty, but at times money is actually the answer and a small donation can have a huge positive impact. Svetlana and her team are doing an amazing job to find such small but impactful projects and I’m happy to spread the word and help with fundraising initiatives.”
